Curriculum Audit and Development

Using a supportive coaching approach, I will work closely with your phonics and early reading leader to audit and develop your curriculum.

This can include, for example:

  • developing your school's curriculum intent statement for early reading and synthetic phonics;

  • mapping the early reading and synthetic phonics curriculum to ensure that there is a rigorous and sequential approach to progression in knowledge and skills;

  • review of approaches to ongoing assessment and intervention to secure progress for every child;

  • developing the curriculum where necessary;

  • support with planning for staff development to secure effective implementation;

  • support with developing approaches to monitoring, evaluation and improvement planning.
